People often ask me, what is Reiki? Reiki is a hands-on healing method that originated in Japan. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. The word Reiki pronounced “RAY-KEY” means “Universal Life Energy”. Reiki has been recognized nationwide as an energy medicine by the National Institute of Health (NIH) *Many have reported miraculous results. 

TYPICAL TREATMENT

Reiki treatment proceeds with the practitioners use a non-touching technique, where the hands are held a few centimeters away from the recipient’s body. The hands are normally kept still for three to five minutes before moving to the next position. General coverage of the head, the front and back of the torso, knees, and feet. Reiki is alleged to aid relaxation, assist in the body’s natural healing processes, and develop emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

Comfortably laying on a massage table or seated in a chair. *Treatment can last over an hour to an hour and a half.

SESSION

During Reiki/Reading session, I will do the 7 chakras and/or general cards reading and smudging sage healing techniques. I tend to go over an hour.
